Support for the trains has driven the development of the trackplan, choice of and placement of the towns and sidings and staging requirements. Thanks to Charles Zlatkovich and his "Texas and Pacific: Operations and Traffic" reference book, I have a historical reference for Passenger and Freight operations during the mid 40's and early 50's.
