The Notch |
The Notch is the area of the railroad that cuts through the mountains on the trip from Katahdin to Harmony. On the south side of the Notch, you will travel along has the Saco River, which is a slow moving pebble filled river. The north side of the Notch you will pass over the Moose River, which has more rapids and a cover bridge for automobiles.
