BRWM Trains |
The trains that are running at this time are a three digit number. This was based on what I
originally had seen on layouts that I operated on. I wanted to continue my trend of
mixing fictional and real things from that area to give the feeling that my railroad
could have existed in that time.
The trains of Maine had a two symbol designator for their trains. The first letter was
the originating town and the second was the ending town. This is what I came up with for
the towns on my layout where a train will start or end.
Town Symbols for Train designations
- A St. Albans
- B - Boston (Interchange South)
- C Somerset Jct. (Canadian Interchange)
- H Harmony
- K Katahdin
- L Local Industrial
- N Northern Maine Jct. (Bangor)
- R - South Portland (Rigby Yard)
- S Searsport
While not in place at this time here is what I plan to implement.
